Paraprofessionals
A teaching assistant who provides instructional services to students. Paraprofessionals provide instructional, behavioral, and other support to students in and outside of the classroom. Paraprofessionals often work one-on-one with students who receive special education and related services
SEIT
A Special Education Itinerant Teacher (SEIT) is employed by an agency that is approved by the New York State Education Department (NYSED) to provide itinerant special education instruction to preschool students with disabilities. Our SEITs help students ages 3-5 meet developmental, social, and emotional goals. When appropriate, we advocate to maintain SEIT services after the turning 5 meeting.
SETSS
Special Education Teacher Support Services; A Special Education Teacher provides support to students ages 5+ with academic, behavioral, social, executive functioning, focusing, processing goals through specially designed or supplemental instruction to support the participation of the student in the general education classroom.
Oral Transliteration
Assists students with hearing impairments.
Advocacy
Our team advocates on your behalf to ensure that your child receives the appropriate services.
Related Service
Students receive specialized services including speech therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy and counseling.
